EPHESIANS 5:18-21 ESV

18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,
19 addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with all your heart,
20 giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
21 submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ.

I. We must seek the filling of the Holy Spirit

II. We are to surrender to the Holy Spirit

EPHESIANS 5:18 ESV

18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,

“A person who is filled with the Holy Spirit is a person who is not a self-willed man but a Spirit-controlled man.”

Reflect:
Is the Spirit free to do all that he wants to do in your life?


III. Being filled with the Spirit will show up in my life
